  • Harvest Service

Fri 18 Oct 2019 Mrs Bird
The children and families of Coppull Parish walked to our local church to take part in the Harvest Service this morning. The weather was perfect for the long walk to Coppull Parish Church and Reverend Matt delivered a wonderful service celebrating the Harvest. Our families had kindly donated lots of food, which is going to be taken to the Salvation Army in Wigan to help those people in need. The church was filled to capacity and everyone enjoyed the hymns and entertaining sermon. It was the perfect ending to our first half term at school.
  • CHIP concert 2019

Fri 18 Oct 2019 Mrs Bird
This Monday, the children from our Glee Club and Choir took part in the annual Chorley Heads In Partnership Concert at Holy Cross High School. It was a fabulous event, in which every school in the cluster performed to an audience of all the other children in the cluster. The children from our Glee Club, kitted out in sparkly pink cowboy hats, performed a wonderful line dance routine to a Dolly Parton classic '9 to 5'; while our choir performed an uplifting rendition of 'Mr Bluesky'. Huge thanks to our talented teachers, who worked so hard to get the children ready for their moment in the limelight, and well done to the children for your wonderful performance.

  • Macmillan Coffee Morning

Wed 09 Oct 2019 Mrs Bird
On Friday 27th of September, Coppull Parish took part in our annual coffee morning to raise funds for the Macmillan Nurses. As you can see from the photographs, there were some delicious cakes baked and donated by our generous families and it was a really well attended event. The event raised £280 for the charity, which is a huge amount and will be put to good use by this fantastic charity. A big thank you to everyone involved.
