Geography Intent
At Coppull Parish we immerse children within our Geography curriculum in order for children to know more, remember more and understand more about the world we live in, which will remain with them for the rest of their lives. We teach the Geography skills through a topic based approach which is creative, inclusive and develops children’s passion for our community, country and wider world. We develop curious global citizens who can compassionately take responsibility for the world that we live in and who are fascinated by our wonderful world and its diverse people. We ensure that children understand the natural and human environments together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. We believe our Geography curriculum helps children to gain knowledge of current geographical issues and how our world has and will change over time.

Diversity – Through our Geography teaching and learning our children gain knowledge and
understanding about different and diverse countries, people, cultures and compare and contrast parts of the world.
