  • Production of 'The Railway Children'

    Thu 26 Sep 2013

Today the whole school was treated to a very special theatrical performance of
    The Railway Children.

Many of the classes in school have been doing lots of work based on this classic by Edith Nesbit.

We were really looking forward to the theatre visit and they certainly didn't disappoint - it was fantastic!

The actors brought the book to life and the scenery was really impressive.

Many thanks to M & M Productions for visiting us here  at Coppull Parish.

  • Whole School European Quiz

    Fri 20 Sep 2013

On Friday 20th September, the whole school battled it out to see who was the best at European Geography!

The reason why we all tried so hard to be the best team was because the winners would get to visit Papa Luigi's Resturant in Chorley.

It was very close, but the winners were the following teams who scored an impressive 26 and 25 out of a possible 30 marks.

    Joseph                Sophie
    Liam                   Ridha
    Alex                    Oliver
    Charlotte             Keylise
    William               Kirsty

As you can see from the photographs, the two winning teams had a great time creating and eating their own pizzas at Papa Luigi's.

A big thank you to all of the staff for their generosity. We all really enjoyed it!

If you would like to try the quiz for yourself, then please see Latest News Documents.

Thank you too to Miss Green for organising this wonderful event.

  • Greek Zorba Dancing with the Amazing Mrs Shepherd

    Tue 17 Sep 2013

On Tuesday 17th September, KS2 went into the hall and danced their socks off with the brilliant Mrs Shepherd!

We tried to learn some Greek dancing as part of our whole-school European Week.

Even though the moves were difficult, KS2 still managed to pull it off!
We all enjoyed the experience and hope we will do it again soon.

As you can see from the photographs, we all had a great time!
