  • Anti-Bullying Magician

    Fri 29 Jun 2012

    Today we were visited by a magician
    who had a very special message for us all at Coppull Parish.

    We all really enjoyed hearing the stories about
    Sue, Bill, Mikey and Oliver, as well as being amazed at the wonderful magic tricks!

    We were reminded of the following statements and
    how we need to BAND together for a bully-free school.

    * Bullying is not okay
    * Ask for help
    * Nobody deserves to be bullied
    * Do your part

  • Olympic Assembly with Graeme Ballard

    Mon 11 Jun 2012
    Today Coppull Parish had the amazing opportunity to meet a Paralympian who is aiming to compete in the 2012 London Olympics!

    Graeme Ballard came into our school to tell us what is is like to be an elite athlete, as well as sharing his experiences of the Beijing and Athens Olympic games.

    It was great to hear about his exercise routine, healthy diet and also to be able to see an Olympic winning medal! Ballard won the bronze medal on his Paralympic debut on the 200m track event in Athens but missed out on medals in Beijing

    We also really enjoyed finding out about the history of the Olympics through the presentation by pupils from Southlands High School.

    Thank you for coming to visit us.  We all really liked your visit.
