  • Chicks, Chicks and More Chicks!

    The children in Year 1 have had such a wonderful two weeks by having their very own little chicks in their classroom.

    On Monday 16th April, 9 eggs and a special incubator were delivered to school.  Over the next few days the children waited excitedly for the baby chicks to make their appearance. 
    By the end of the week, an impressive 8 chicks had hatched!

  • 500 Words Competition

    A HUGE congratulations to Kai from Year 5 who
    has made it into the final 25 in the 
    '500 Words' competition held by BBC Radio 2.

    Over 74,000 children entered the competition this year and so Kai has done exceptionally well to get into the final 25.

    Kai has been invited to attend the Hay Festival on the 31st May,
    where he will have the chance to meet famous authors
    including David Walliams and Jacqueline Wilson,
    and not forgetting Chris Evans from Radio 2.

    Good luck for the rest of the competition Kai, we are all very proud of you!
