  • Reception Class Nativity

    Wed 07 Dec 2016
A huge well done to all of the children and staff involved in the Reception Class Nativity. They were all fabulous and, as always, there wasn't a dry eye in the house! They sung and danced beautifully and did themselves proud. Well done Reception class team!
  • NSPCC Dance Day

    Fri 18 Nov 2016
Thank you so much for all of your sponsors. Today we held our NSPCC Dance Day and the children loved it! We danced every hour and worked up a great sweat in the hall and in our classrooms too. All of our hard work paid off and we raised £2,032.50! Wow! Well done to everyone who took part and collected sponsors.
  • BAD Day!

    Mon 07 Nov 2016

BAD Day - Big Art Day

Throughout school each class chose a different Bible story to study. They then produced various creative pieces to be displayed around the school. Look out for Daniel and the Lions, David and Goliath and a huge fish lurking around our school to name just a few! The children loved using lots of different media and materials and exploring various art and design skills too.

We look forward to holding another BAD day in the Summer term.

  • Phonics Coffee Morning

    Mon 24 Oct 2016
Thank you to all of the Reception Class parents/carers who were able to attend our Phonics Coffee Morning. This is something we host each year in order to offer an insight to parents/carers as to how we teach your children to read and write in the Early Years. We loved sharing our teaching techniques and wealth of resources with you. Miss Green is excellent at keeping parents/carers very well informed with your child's progress in Phonics, however please do not hesitate to pop in and ask should you have any further questions in the future. We want you to be able to support your children as much as possible on their wonderful learning journey.

  • Cross Country Success!

    Wed 28 Sep 2016
We had a great turn out at the recent Cross Country event at Southlands High School. With over 20 pupils taking part from Coppull Parish from Years 4,5 and 6. Jessica in Y6 managed to finish 2nd place in the girls individual race against over 50 other participants! How fantastic! Keep it up!
  • Gold Medallist Jason Queally!

    Mon 18 Jul 2016
Today we had a very special visitor in school. We were lucky enough to welcome an Olympic Gold Medallist, Jason Queally. Jason won his Gold medal during the Sydney Olympic games in 2000 for cycling. He was a pleasure to listen to and emphasised that his goal is always to do his best, rather than focus upon only being a winner. A brilliant message for all of our children. Thank you so much to Jason for giving up his time to come and speak to all of our children and staff.

We also all got to hold his gold medal!

Thank you to Mr Ingham who accompanied Jason and spoke to us about Jason's bike and the mechanics behind it. Mr Ingham is one of our parents and works for the British Cycling Team!
  • E-Safety Day

    Fri 20 May 2016
E-Safety Day was a hug success. All the children learnt about how to keep themselves safe when using the internet and social media. We learnt the Internet Legends Code: think before you share, protect your stuff, check it's real and respect others.
Year 6 made some videos to inform others how to stay safe online. Take a peek on our Latest News Documents page.
  • Spirituality Week at Coppull Parish C of E

    Thu 07 Apr 2016
Our Spirituality Week has been a huge success again this year. Each class chose one value to focus on throughout the week and created activities based around this. These wonderful activities were displayed and set up within our hall for the whole school to enjoy. Thank you to the parents and carers who were able to come and join us at the end of the day too. We hope to add lots of photographs from the week to our website very soon.
