π Coppull Parish Spelling Bee 2025 π
What a buzzing spelling bee final we had! It was a tricky one this year with some seriously challenging words, but our amazing finalists showed great determination and focus.
After lots of super spelling we made it down to our final three spellers.
We’re thrilled to announce a joint 2nd placeπ₯ for Aaryan and Amaya in Reception- what an incredible achievement at such a young age.
A huge congratulations to our 2025 Spelling Bee champion Ava in Year 4 !π₯
Well done to everyone who took part, we’re so proud of you all βοΈ π
This week the Garden Club visited St James School Chorley who were the hosts for the Horticultural Show 2025. Schools from all over Chorley visited and exhibited in 18 distinct categories displaying vegetables, flowers, artwork, and fruit.
Our school garden club have worked hard nurturing peas, beans, tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, carrots, spring onions, radish, potatoes, strawberries, and sweet peas. We are incredibly proud as a horticultural show takes commitment and dedication all year and this year was no different. We entered artwork from many children across the school.
We are delighted to announce that the Coppull Parish gardening club won awards in 13 out of the 18 categories, which is amazing - and purely down to the efforts of the children and Mrs Goymer. They are now hoping to build a polytunnel, so that their garden continues to flourish.
Here are some photographs of the event.
