This year was our second year at Young Voices and yet again the children and staff all loved the experience. Thank you to Miss Blackledge and Miss Grimes for teaching the budding singers each week and for taking them to this great event. It is certainly something they will remember forever.

 

A big thank you to any families who were able to join us at the arena and share this amazing night with us.

It was a very exciting day at Coppull Parish today as elections took place all morning in our school hall. Hopeful School Council candidates have been tirelessly campaigning for weeks now and today the entire school got to place their votes! 

 

Well done to all who put themselves forward. Your posters, badges, banners, speeches and all round effort and enthusiasm was admirable and you should all feel very proud!

 

We will be announcing our new School Council members in Celebration Assembly on Friday 10th February.

All classes fully embraced our Safer Internet Day and participated in age appropriate activities in order to teach them how to keep safe online. We will be sharing all of our new knowledge during two assemblies. One assembly for EYFS anf KS1 families on Tuesday 21st February at 9:10am and the second on Wednesday 22nd February for KS2 families at 9:10am.

This week in school many of our classes have been celebrating Chinese New Year. There has been lots of fascinating work going on throughout school, including art work, dance, music and food tasting! 

This morning we will be having a Fencing Assembly. This will go on to be one of our many extra curricular activities, so look out for the information to follow if you would like your child to take part and learn new skills.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us in our walk up to Church and to those who came to our Christmas Service. I am sure you will all agree that it was a lovely service and the children sang beautifully.

Candle Lit Carols (6pm - 7pm) 

Singing around the Christmas tree with mince pies and our favorite Christmas hymns, this is an event not to be missed! What a wonderful way to spend the evening and bring Christmas cheer to our community.

What a lovely afternoon. Thank you to all of our families who were able to attend. The children loved having you in school, working alongside them and creating wonderful, creative crafts together.

 

We will certainly be hosting this event again.

We could not believe our eyes when our Year 1 and Year 2 children performed their Nativity on the 14th and 15th December! They were absolutely fantastic and we are very proud of each and every one of them! Thank you so much to all of our families who came to support the children and thank you to the staff who gave up much of their time to put this wonderful performance together. Well done Year 1 and Year 2!

Every year we host Christmas Bingo in our school hall, inviting all school families and members of our local community to join the fun. It was as popular as ever and a great success! Thank you to all who attended and helped to bring the spirit of Christmas to our school community.
