  • End of Year Production 2019

Tue 16 Jul 2019 Mrs Bird
Our end of year production was 'Hoodwinked' based on the story of Robin Hood. Our Year 6 children, were ably supported by our fabulous choir of KS2 children and performed their socks off! It was a total triumph of talent: we had amazing acting, clever choreography, delightful dancing, crease-you-up comedy and sensational singing. Who could ask for more? The audiences were thoroughly entertained and had a ball, as did all the performers who took part. Well done to all the children and adults involved in such a memorable performance. • Sports Day

Tue 16 Jul 2019 Mrs Bird
What a brilliant spectacle of sport we had at our annual Sports Day this year. We began the day with our carousel of skills based sports, in which every child competed for their team. Then the children all took in running races, where they competed as individuals. The children gave it 100% and amazed us with their speed and endurance. The overall House Team winner was a very closely fought contest, with only a couple of points between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Our winning team were St Patricks, the GREEN team. Well done to St Patricks and everyone who took part! Here are some photographs which capture some of our memories of the day. You will find podium photographs on Class Dojo, if you want to have a look.

  • Health and Fitness Week

Mon 03 Jun 2019 Mrs Bird

After the huge success of last year, we are very pleased to run another HEALTH AND FITNESS WEEK! Miss Green and Miss Blackledge planned a very exciting week and couldn't wait for the children to take part. The aim of this week is to inspire the children to be fit, healthy and consider new hobbies and interests. We have used some of our Sports Premium money to fund this, and have sourced some kind volunteers for the rest! These are some of the activities the children enjoyed this week.
