The children and staff have had a fabulous time during Health Week, carrying out a wide range of sporting activities, as well as sessions of Forest School, crown green bowling, water safety, dance, skateboarding, healthy eating, learning about hygiene and devoting time to focussing on their mental health and well-being. It’s been wonderful to see the children so active and clearly enjoying their learning, and we were blessed with wonderful weather too. A big thanks goes out to Mrs Cooper and Mr Raby for organizing this brilliant annual event and to all the volunteers who gave their time to support us. Here are some photographs which capture some fabulous memories of the day. Enjoy!
This week is Spirituality Week at Coppull Parish. We have decided to look at the school's Christian values this year and each class has chosen one Christian value to focus on. In order to develop the children's spirituality we are using the 'Windows, Mirrors and Doors' approach to investigate what the value means, where we can find evidence of it in the Bible; and think about how they, and others, live out this value. Then each class is going to 'take action' in promoting and encouraging the spread of their Christian value throughout our school, local community and the world. As part of this, each class has built a prayer station, which showcases their value and invites everyone to participate in a range of creative activities to explore it further.
On Thursday, we had a special visitor, Carol Berry, our Diocesan Adviser, to lead spirituality activities in our Willow Circle, which every class took part in. Have a look at the photographs and see what they got up to.
