Over the past few weeks the children at Coppull Parish have been very busy answering mental maths questions all in preparation for breaking a world record. Our school has taken part in World Maths Day for the past few years, and every time all the children have been so enthusiastic and eager to participate.
The children have spent their half term trying to answer as many questions as they can in a minute, with many making massive improvements on their scores. Someone even improved by 310%!
These three children managed to answer over 15,000 questions correctly between them - what an impressive achievement!
A big thank you to Mrs Jones who organised this event for the children to enjoy, and to Mrs McGuinness for completing the technical process of registering the children on the computer.
