Welcoming the Chorley Olympic Torch
As part of the London 2012 Olympic celebrations, Chorley Sports Partnership organised an Olympic torch relay between all schools in Chorley.
Today, the torch arrived at Coppull Parish!
Children from Southlands High School brought the torch to our school this afternoon.
We welcomed them with our singing, dancing and flag waving which they definately appreciated. As the torch was passed onto our school, we exchanged pennants between the two schools.

Our school then had to take the torch all the way to the next school - Coppull St Johns. Children from Year 5 and Year 6 carried the torch and exchanged pennants with St Johns once they were there.
The children and staff at Coppull Parish were very happy to be part of such a wonderful occasion!
