Strider's visit to Coppull Parish
Coppull Parish were selected for a visit from Strider, the WOW Travel Tracker mascot, as a special reward for being in the top 10 schools in the whole of Lancashire for participation in this active travel scheme. Our Kingdom Club signed up to the WOW Travel Tracker in order to reduce congestion and air pollution around school, and encourage the children to walk/cycle or scoot to school to improve their mental health and well-being whilst increasing their fitness. Our families have really supported us with this and the children wear their WOW badges with pride. There were crowds of excited children on the playground this morning, eager to meet Strider and have their photographs taken. Here are some photographs which capture the event.
