Over the past three weeks, the children at Coppull Parish
have been busy collecting pennies as part of a
charity collection organised by the School Council.
The School Council decided to ask the school to collect
money for the charity The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Some members from the School Council took all of the pennies
to be counted, and there were so many it took over a hour for the
machine to count them all!
Today, everyone finally found out just how much their class had
raised for this fantastic cause.
The results are as follows....
YR - £19.33
Y1 - £19.91
Y2 - £51.24
Y3 - £59.51
Y4 - £12.64
Y5 - £27.67
Y6 - £27.83
A BIG THANK YOU to all of the children,
but CONGRATULATIONS to Y2 and Y3
who will be having a treat for raising over £50 in their classes.
