Olympic Torch Relay
On Wednesday 29th July, we were invited to participate in an Olympic Torch relay with Southlands High School and the Primary Schools nearby. Each school had to make an Olympic Torch that would be delivered to another school and left as a sign of friendship.
Duke Street Primary School started off the relay by walking with their torch to All Saints, who then walked to our school. We welcomed our visitors by the whole school forming an archway for them to run through with their torch.
We then continued the relay by taking our torch to St. John's.
St. John's then walked to Coppull Primary, who then completed the relay
by walking back to Southlands.
