Today we held a non-uniform in aid of Bijilo Lower Basic School in The Gambia.
As you may be aware, Coppull Parish has supported this school for over a year now.
We have held non-uniform days, cake sales and even an art exhibition with the aim to raise equipment and more importantly, awareness of this school and country.
Today, children were asked to bring in items of sports equipment which will be put in the shipping container that is being sent to The Gambia at the end of October.
The children at Bijilo currently have little playtime equipment and very few items for their PE lessons. We know that all of the items you have donated will
make a real difference to their school.
Thank you to everyone who sent in equipment today.
It is much appreciated and we thank you for your support.
Mr Bolam, who is our link teacher for this outreach, would also like to pass on his thanks too.
We will put updates on our 'Latest News' page when the container arrives, so please keep a look for them!
