Kingdom group's Fairtrade Week Launch
We are celebrating Fairtrade Week at Coppull Parish, and the Kingdom Club, who are trying to turn our world into the Kingdom of God, prepared and delivered an assembly all about Fairtrade to remind our children why we support this initiative in school. Their assembly was all about the world running out of chocolate because the cocoa farmers weren't receiving enough money to feed their families, or send their children to school. It was a disaster! Fortunately, there is a solution, buy Fairtrade chocolate and it will make cocoa farming sustainable for future generations. So well done to the Kingdom Club for delivering such an important and powerful message. Here are some photographs of their assembly.
