Kingdom Club update
Following on from our Animal Rescue assembly this morning, the Kingdom Club met with Michael Jones from the charity to discuss ways that they can support his team with their worthwhile work, whilst also improving the lives of animals in our community. It is part of our mission as a school to create courageous Christians, who try to improve the lives of everyone in our local area, the wider community and worldwide and everything in it. After a discussion with Michael, the Kingdom Club have decided to raise funds for the Animal Rescue Centre by creating a pet bakery stall, selling healthy snacks for pets in our school community and sending them the profits. They are also going to organize a sponsored dog walk, later in the school year, to reinforce the need for exercising our pets, whilst raising funds for the centre. The Kingdom Club are very excited about their forthcoming projects and having a chance to make a difference to their world.
