Hand on Heart Assembly
Today, we held a very special assembly with the charity 'Hand on Heart'.
A few months ago, Coppull Parish Church School was nominated by Councillor Holgate to receive a defibrillator funded by the charity ‘Hand on Heart’.
Today the charity formally presented school with this piece of lifesaving equipment.
This charity aims to ensure schools are equipped with everything they need to make them into a Heart Safe environment.
A Heart Safe environment is one where lifesaving equipment and training are provided for staff so that, should a sudden cardiac arrest occur, people are fully prepared to perform resuscitation and life support.
Few schools have the opportunity to have this life saving equipment so we are very thankful to Councillor Holgate for nominating us.
