More great news! Mrs Goymer and the gardening club entered CHIP in Bloom, a gardening competition between local schools in Chorley. All year Mrs Goymer and the gardening club have been working so hard growing fruit, vegetables and herbs to enter into the competition and also planting flowers and keeping the school looking beautiful to try and win the ‘Best Kept School’ award.
We are so proud to say that we did in fact win the Best Kept School award! We also won many other awards too:
1st place for a pot of plants
1st place for a vase of flowers
2nd place for a pot of flowers
3rd place for the onions and garlic grown by the gardening club
2nd place for the pod of peas
Millie in Y4 won 1st place for her pot of herbs
1st place for a plate of fruit grown by the gardening club
Holly in Y3 won 1st place for her painting of a flower
Mia in Y3 won 1st place for her garden design
And many more..
We can’t thank Mrs Goymer and the gardening club enough for doing such a wonderful job with our school gardens! ⭐️ 🏆
