As part of Spirituality Week, each class has been focusing on a major world faith and learning about their beliefs, traditions and culture. As part of this, our children have been studying their festivals and the foods from these different cultures and preparing them and cooking them in class. As a school, one of our Curriculum Drivers is to teach children about healthy eating and how to prepare food and cook it safely, so we have really been able to put all this good learning into practice this week. Here are some photographs of the classes making their delicious food, which will be shared with the rest of the school in our sharing assembly in the afternoon. There are also a couple of photographs of the assembly, showing the judges deliberating over the best dish of the day.
