Christmas festivities

Over the past two weeks we have been very busy in school preparing for Christmas.

Reception Class all did a fantastic job in performing their 'Little Nativity' and Years 1 and 2 amazed us with their performance of 'Gabriel's Big Break', looking at the story of Christmas from a different point of view.
A special thanks to all the Key Stage 1 staff who helped make these a huge success!

Last week we held a Candle-Lit Carol Service complete with mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate. Thank you to all the children and parents who came and sang and made it a lovely occasion.

Today we had our annual Christmas Church service by Reverend Hudson. Due to the rain it was held in school but this certainly did not dampen our spirits! Reverend Hudson reminded the children to think about why we celebrate Christmas. Thank you to the Year 6 children who did the readings for us today.

We hope you all have a lovely Christmas time and look forward to seeing what the New Year brings.

Merry Christmas!
