Christmas Wreaths - 20.12.2011

Wow!  What fun we've had in class today making
our own Christmas wreath!

Using willow from our very own school grounds,
we made the base for our wreath a few weeks ago,
but today came for the fun decorating part!

Ena, from Birkacre Nurseries, kindly came into our class to show us how to attach the evergreen and decorations onto our willow frame.

The process was rather fiddly,
but it was worth all of the effort when you see the final results.

We think they look wonderful and couldn't wait to
give them to our family at home time!

Many thanks to Birkacre Nurseries for kindly donating the evergreen
and all of the wonderful decorations and ribbons.

Also, a BIG thank you to Ena for coming to work with us in Year 5.
We really enjoyed it!
