Today, we had fun playing safety games. We also had a jigsaw hunt.
Lots of us got creative today. We made bandanas and pictures on cloth. Some of us made a den with a quick escape route-a mud slide which we will try out next week.
We also helped out the wardens-and british wildlife; by pulling up himalayan balsam seedlings which are invasive in our locality. Our native insects and other invertebrates need the ground cover to be made up of other plant species like nettle, bluebell and wild garlic. Left alone, the himalayan balsam takes over.
We all made spears on which to cook our marshmallows, which we squashed between two biscuits......yum!
